Israel came under fresh missile and rocket fire overnight and throughout the day, with launches from both Iran and Lebanon as the war enters its third week. Sirens sounded repeatedly across central Israel, including Tel Aviv, after ballistic missiles were fired from Iran. The IDF says most were intercepted, though several impact sites were reported.
Meanwhile, the IDF says its air campaign inside Iran is intensifying, striking more than 200 targets in the past 24 hours as part of Operation Roaring Lion, targeting missile launchers, air defenses and weapons sites.
The United States also struck targets on Iran’s Kharg Island, the country’s main oil export hub, while President Donald Trump said allies may deploy warships to secure the Strait of Hormuz.
On the northern front, Israeli forces continue striking Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, while reports suggest Israel may be preparing for a major ground operation in southern Lebanon. Diplomatic efforts are also emerging that could lead to talks between Israel and Lebanon in the coming days.
