In one area, pro-Palestine demonstrators marked the 78th anniversary of Nakba – when around 750,000 Palestinians were forcibly displaced from their homes. Nearby, the Unite the Kingdom rally organised by Tommy Robinson called for a clampdown on migration and political change.
