Former President Donald J. Trump narrowly escaped an assassination attempt, raising serious questions about a potential major failure by the Secret Service.
During a rally in Pennsylvania, shots rang out, grazing Trump’s ear and fatally striking a rally attendee. The shooter fired from an elevated position on the roof of a manufacturing plant, 130 yards from the stage.

The incident has spotlighted a significant lapse in security, with some experts calling it the most critical failure since the assassination of Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy in 1968.
A former senior federal law enforcement source criticized the Secret Service, stating, “Secret service failed. Shooter was high ground, took way too long to get him out and he was exposed if there was a second shooter. That was an inch away from his assassination.” The source also noted that Trump was exposed to the crowd when placed in the car, calling it “not a good, trained plan.”

Yesterday:
– Female agent couldn’t holster gun.
– Female agent frantically shouted “what are we doing? Where are we going?” after the shots.

The security failure is being attributed to Secret Service Director Kim Cheatle, formerly a security chief for PepsiCo. Calls for her resignation have emerged, including from SpaceX/Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who highlighted an eyewitness account ignored by the Secret Service.
Conservative commentator and former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino also demanded Cheatle’s resignation. He criticized the denial of additional Secret Service protection for Trump, citing the heightened threat environment.
Bongino further elaborated, “This is an obviously catastrophic failure and NO excuses should be made, or even attempted. The failures are profound and questions must be answered about ground surveillance, air surveillance, post-stander support, and counter-sniper advance work and response. We have ONE job, and we came within inches of a deadly failure today.”

CPAC chairman Matt Schlapp has called for a public investigation into the incident. Cheatle is expected to face tough questions from Republicans in Congress, with some questioning if the lapse was due to incompetence or something more sinister.
Fortunately for Trump, he survived the incident without falling victim to this apparent security breach, at least this time. Will the Secret Serve continue to not give Trump extra security even now? We will quickly see the intentions of the installed President and this regime in Washington DC.
