If we are to be honest, Zelensky is having a heart attack knowing that Trump is to return to the White House. The man’s very existence relies 100% on U.S. support.
Former President Donald Trump reported having a “very good phone call” with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Friday, marking their first interaction since Trump left office. This conversation comes hot on the heels of Trump formally accepting the Republican nomination for the 2024 presidential race, and amidst European apprehensions regarding Trump’s potential policies on the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
On Truth Social, Trump shared that President Zelensky of Ukraine congratulated him on a successful Republican National Convention and on becoming the Republican nominee for President of the United States. Zelensky condemned the heinous assassination attempt from the previous Saturday and remarked on the American people coming together in the spirit of unity during these times.

Trump continued, expressing his appreciation for Zelensky’s outreach, stating that as the next President of the United States, he would bring peace to the world and end the war that has cost so many lives and devastated countless innocent families. He emphasized that both sides would be able to come together and negotiate a deal that ends the violence and paves a path forward to prosperity.
In a post on X, Zelensky echoed his congratulations to Trump and condemned the “shocking assassination attempt in Pennsylvania.” He wished Trump strength and safety, highlighting the critical bipartisan American support for Ukraine’s freedom and independence. Zelensky added that they agreed to discuss steps for making peace fair and lasting in a personal meeting.

Trump has often claimed he could resolve the Ukraine conflict swiftly, though his exact strategy remains unclear. In a recent CNN debate, Trump deemed Putin’s terms – requiring Ukraine to cede territories occupied by Russia – as “not acceptable,” yet he and his supporters have criticized U.S. military assistance to Kyiv.
Trump’s stance on NATO spending has long been contentious on the Left. He has suggested that Russia could act freely against NATO members not meeting defense spending guidelines, a position that alarmed many in Washington and Europe. But we all know it was a tactic to get them to pay their fair share. Leftist media however continue to play their propaganda games.
Trump and Zelensky share a complicated history, notably from a 2019 call where Trump urged Zelensky to investigate Joe Biden and his son Hunter, a call that contributed to Trump’s first impeachment. A totally fake impeachment by Pelosi and crew.
European diplomats are reportedly bracing for Trump’s possible return to the presidency, working to reinforce NATO and ensure ongoing support for Ukraine. Zelensky, during a recent U.S. visit, remarked that “everyone is waiting for November,” referring to both Biden and Trump’s support for democracy, which he believes is equally detested by Putin.
