In Ukraine, diplomatic efforts are ramping up to forge a peace deal with Russia. The US and Ukraine have now drafted a “refined” framework and plan to continue talks to end the war. This follows the controversial 28-point proposal presented by Washington to Kiev last week, which included Ukraine ceding territory, a ban on joining NATO, and a limit on the size of its army. Kiev and European allies have called it a Kremlin wish list. Paul Hawkins reports.
