Nobel Peace Prize winner Maria Corina Machado will not be in attendance for the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony today
The Venezuelan opposition leader, 58, has not been seen in public since January, when she led protests against President Nicolas Maduro, who is widely considered a dictator.
She was awarded the prize in October, with the committee crediting her with keeping "the flame of democracy burning amidst growing darkness".
