‘Danny Go!’ creator Daniel Coleman shared May 22 that his son Isaac, 14, died after battling stage 3 mouth cancer. "Oh my sweet boy," Daniel wrote on Instagram May 22. "There’s so much I want to say, but I don’t know how yet. I already miss you so much, and the pain in my heart is far more than I can process." He continued, "But looking through thousands of pictures and videos this past week, I’m also filled with tremendous pride. Your 14 years were full of so many challenges, but you met them all with such grit…and you somehow kept your trademark joy in spite of it all." Daniel first shared news of Isaac’s cancer diagnosis back in December, which he explained that their family knew was a possibility given that Isaac had been born with Fanconi Anemia, which according to the Cleveland Clinic is "an inherited condition that happens when certain genes mutate," and can “cause physical differences and blood disorders that lead to bone marrow failure.” In addition, it "also increases your risk of cancerous tumors."
