Images released by the Ansar Allah Media Centre, affiliated with Yemen’s Houthi movement, show the launch of a missile that the group said targeted the Jaffa area near Tel Aviv, Israel, on Monday.
The footage was released a few hours after Israel announced strikes on the Mahshahr petrochemical complex in Iran, where heavy smoke was seen rising from the site.
On Monday, the Houthi movement also declared a ban on Israeli shipping in the Red Sea.
