Conan O’Brien explained the hilarious reason for ditching his signature pompadour hairdo on his podcast, ‘Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend.’ The new, slickback look came to be after Conan got a brutal scalp sunburn at last month’s Obama Presidential Center opening in Chicago. He has to rub oil into his scalp until the burn heals, which is what’s keeping his famous hair pinned flat.
