Oliver Tree’s celebration of life event was just as quirky as he was. The late singer, who died in June in a helicopter crash in Brazil, was honored by friends, family and fans in his hometown, Santa Cruz, California. Guests dressed in bold colors, some even recreating his signature look, as Oliver-inspired mannequins in coffins were perched on the stage. Oliver’s family and friends — including celeb pals like Diplo and Logan Paul — gave speeches on stage. While there were plenty of moving moments, like when Oliver’s mom vowed to start his foundation benefitting aspiring musicians, there were also many hilarious bits, like when an AI voice (impersonating Oliver) kicked the speakers off stage before they could end their speeches.
