Cassandra Wilson, a GRAMMY-winning jazz singer, has died. She was 70. Cassandra’s longtime manager confirmed her death to jazz public radio station ‘WGBO,’ sharing that she died at home surrounded by family. Cassandra, who was considered a pioneer of her field, won two GRAMMYs and was an outspoken advocate for keeping jazz music alive.
