Dolly Parton’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame has been vandalized a week after her death. Fans of the country megastar swarmed Hollywood Boulevard last week, turning the site into a tear-soaked shrine after she died aged 80.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce confirmed that crews were dispatched to repair the star. “Dolly’s star already had cracks in it, and the chamber had scheduled it to be repaired Tuesday,” Ana Martinez, a spokesman for the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce told TMZ. Martinez added it was a fan who stole the flowers and left scratches on the star.
