Ben Affleck finally settled a longtime debate about whether he wore a prosthetic while filming the shower scene in the 2014 thriller ‘Gone Girl.’ “I wore no prosthesis,” Affleck confirmed in an Oct. 7 interview with Variety. “I’ve only worn one in one film, ‘Hollywoodland.’ It was a nose.” Affleck also reflected on his time playing Batman, admitting, “I really liked doing “Batman v Superman.” That was really fun. “Justice League” had a lot of issues, and that wasn’t that much fun, frankly.” Still, Affleck said it was rewarding to see director Zack Snyder eventually release his vision for the superhero film. And despite his complicated history in the DC universe, Affleck had major praise for Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, calling the producer “a kind of genius” when it came to understanding what audiences wanted.
