George Clooney is keeping his business partner Rande Gerber in his thoughts. After Rande and his wife Cindy Crawford’s 27-year-old son Presley Gerber died from a suspected overdose on Sept. 20, the Oscar winner shared his condolences and offered his support to the couple as they continue to navigate an unimaginable tragedy. "Quite honestly, it’s one of the most devastating things that’s happened to our family," Clooney—who co-founded Casamigos Tequila with Rande in 2013—told Entertainment Tonight on Oct. 9 at The Albies, an annual awards ceremony hosted by his Clooney Foundation for Justice, "and their family is just as you can imagine." He added, "It’s the worst thing that could ever happen with family." Presley was the only son of Rande and Crawford, who married in 1998. The couple also share daughter Kaia Gerber. After the Los Angeles medical examiner confirmed Presley died inside a rehab facility Sept. 20, police shared that the 27-year-old was found dead of a suspected overdose. "On September 20, 2026, at approximately 9:35 a.m., Santa Monica Police Department officers responded to a report of a possible overdose,” the department told E! News in a statement Sept. 21. "Upon arrival, officers located an adult male who was deceased. The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner has identified the individual as Presley Gerber, 27.” Police added, “Detectives are investigating the death as a suspected overdose. At this time, there is no indication of foul play. The official cause and manner of death will be determined by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.” Full Story: https://www.eonline.com/news/1436303/george-clooney-breaks-silence-on-presley-gerbers-death
