A McDonald’s worker in Michigan films himself saying his district and general managers told him to stop calling customers ‘sir’ or ‘ma’am.’ He says they told him it was because you never know how someone identifies. He says it goes against his religious beliefs. He argues that ‘sir’ and ‘ma’am’ are polite customer service. He says he is being threatened with consequences if he continues.
